INTERMEDIATE EQUINE ARTHROSCOPY COURSE
18-19 June 2026- León, Spain
- This course is intended for ECVS/ACVS Diplomates, equine practitioners specializing in surgery and surgical Residents. The aim of this course is to provide equine surgeons and surgery residents in-depth training to be able to perform the different approaches to the joints, sheaths and bursa described in the program with clinical cases.
Objectives:
➔ Acquire Knowledge and skills to perform intermediate equine arthroscopy
➔ Know the instruments and material to perform equine arthroscopy
➔ Know the basic technique of arthroscopy as a diagnostic method
➔ Know the arthroscopy technique as a therapeutic method
➔ Acquire skills to perform diagnostic and therapeutic equine arthroscopy
➔ Know the clinical cases that can benefit from arthroscopy

➔ Diagnostic imaging of the fetlock, carpus, stifle and hock of routine and complicated cases.

➔ Arthroscopic surgery of Tarsocrural joint
➔ Arthroscopic surgery of Fetlock joint
➔ Tenoscopy of Digital Flexor Tendon Sheath
➔ Arthroscopic surgery of Stifle (Femoropatellar and Femorotibial joints)
➔ Arthroscopic surgery of Distal Interphalangeal joint
➔ Bursoscopic surgery of Navicular Bursa
